material grrrl garland

Inspired by childhood party decor, this garland is packed with cutesy notions that can be completely customized to you. Grab your favorite colors to make the perfect decor piece! Each of these pieces begins with the same circle and can be finished in less than 15 minutes.

We guarantee one of them will become your next hyperfixation, and we can’t wait to see you cover your walls in them!

We want to see how else you use these pieces! Attach them to clothing, connect them to create belts and headbands, or dream up something completely crazy! Tag @materialgrrrlz so we can see and credit “the material grrrlz flower” “the material grrrlz star” etc. as the pattern:)

50ch and tie off

To connect bows together through their loops, lay one chain in a bow shape (without tying anything) and tie a double knot around it using an 8 inch piece of yarn. Tie the yarn in a bow to create a double bow effect.

Continue to connect multiple bows together.
